Travelling in Europe: Milan

Hi friends!
Today in my blog I am going to speak about the city were I wont to go: Milan.

Is the second-largest city in Italy. The city proper has a population of about 1.3 million, while its urban area is the 5th largest in the and the largest in Italy with an estimated population of about 5.2 million. The massive suburban sprawl that followed the Italian economic miracle of 1950s–60s with the growth of a vast commuter belt, creating a metropolitan area of 7-9 million people.

In one hand, if you are a person that like the story you can go to Pavia; is a city with great history that spreads up to the coasts of the river Ticino. It is a city with a very attractive landscape because has a medieval aspect that there captivates the interested persons in this world. This city was the scene of a battle in 1525 where the Milanesado was achieved for Carlos I of Spain.

In the other hand, if you like the architecture, you can go to The Piazza del Duomo, the city's main and most central square, surrounded by several palaces and important buildings, such as Milan Cathedral. Dedicated to Santa Maria Nascente (Saint Mary Nascent),the Gothic cathedral took nearly six centuries to complete. It is the fourth largest cathedral in the world and the largest in the Italian state. Apart of this we have the Vittorio Emanuele II Gallery and the Royal Palace of Milan.

But if you are interested going shopping, Milan is regarded as one of the international capitals of industrial and modern design, and one of the world's most influential cities in such fields. The city is particularly well known for its high-quality ancient and modern furniture and industrial goods. Milan hosts the FieraMilano, Europe's biggest, and one of the world's most prestigious furniture and design fairs.

Finally, after so many visits it is sure that you want to eat something. You have to understand that in milan there is not nothing cheap so, if you have a limited budget, I advise you to eat a pannini or a pizza. But if you want to eat luxury Italian food  you can eat in the Restaurant Il Luogo I gave Aimo and Nadia.
